Quiet, seething, perilous.
How dare he?
And then act wronged? How can I be clearer? Plainer?
Is he deliberately misunderstanding?
It’s all in your head
I say,
You’re responding to things I didn’t say
I say,
What can I do?
I say.
What can we do?
You say.
